Join TodayHere at 2nd Paisley Abbey, we provide Scouting to young people in and around the Paisley area. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more.
Founded in 1909, the Paisley Abbey Scout Group has proudly served young people in Paisley and the surrounding areas for over a century.
Originally based in the Paisley Abbey Mission Halls from 1909 to 2022, we now meet at the University of the West of Scotland – Paisley Campus, providing a modern and accessible venue for all our sections.
We offer fun, friendship, and adventure across the following age groups:
🐿️ Squirrels (ages 4–6)
🦫 Beavers (ages 6–8)
🐺 Cubs (ages 8–10½)
🔥 Scouts (ages 10½–14)
Scouting helps young people develop skills for life – building confidence, resilience, leadership, and teamwork. Whether it’s speaking up in class, preparing for an interview, or tackling life’s big challenges, Scouts equips young people to thrive.
We welcome all young people into our sections and do our very best to meet the individual needs of every member.
#SkillsForLife – empowering the next generation, one adventure at a time.
The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.
