Cubs First Night At Our New Home

Friday 8th March 2024 was the first night for our Cubs meeting at our new home in UWS Paisley.

It was made extra special as our Assistant Cub Leader Craig Warnock was awarded his 20 year service badge by our DC. Then it was made even better as he was presented with his Award of Merit by his childhood ‘Akela’ Gordon Mason.

When speaking to Craig afterwards he said “I was totally taken back, I can’t believe it’s been 20 years.” he was delighted to be presented with his Awards with his son present, who we hope will follow in his very big footsteps.

All of us 2nd Paisley Abbey Scout Group would like to congratulate Craig on these great achievements.

Gordon said “I am so glad I was able to be here tonight to present Craig with this award, it is so deserved and we thank Craig for his dedication and commitment to the group.”
